Kookaburra Australian Hops, ABV 4.4%

An amber coloured premium strength bitter.

One lady says that her zoo's Kookaburras are very friendly towards her, but quite argumentative amongst themselves. They are constantly hungry and very greedy - just like a typical group of pub drinkers with a nice barmaid then.

'More of a copper colour I'd say. Lots of hops - balanced between the aromatic and the bitter, with some malt too to provide some backbone. The finish is clean and dry ... a pleasant, easy drinking beer.'

Tasting Notes

An amber coloured premium strength bitter which gains its characteristic bitterness from Australian grown Pride of Ringwood hops. The nose is delicate and lemony and the flavour is full with a hint of spice.

Pale and Crystal malts; Pride of Ringwood and Goldings hops.
