Wellington Monument sits on the Blackdown Hills next to the M5 Junction 26 and was built to commemorate the Duke of Wellington's historic victory over Napoleon in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. The pale golden beer was awarded 'category winner' in London at the Excellence in Food and Drink Awards 2006. According to the judges 'tastes like summer and has a fresh aroma and a fruity finish'.
