To celebrate Cotleigh's jubilee anniversary in 2004, we collaborated with our famous brewing Professor, and came up with this refreshing new beer. The brewery decided to create a beer that was different to their existing portfolio with the aim of appealing to younger consumers.
After months of experimentation under the code name 'Cuckoo', Cotleigh 25 was quietly launched into the trade.
From that initial launch many publicans remained strongly loyal. So much so, the brewery have been forced to leave it available as a permanent focus brand.
It is an extremely 'quaffable' beer, being refreshing as well as full of taste.
